Discussion: Site Suggestions?

It’s been exactly one month and one day since I’ve started this project & website, and it’s been quite an experiment thus far. I’ve been more or less winging it as I go along both with the clean up process as well as the blogging, working everything out through trial and error.
Along the way, many readers have been leaving comments and sending emails giving helpful tips and suggestions on the cleanup process. Without them I wouldn’t have learned how to disassemble a box without box cutters, where to go with my jars of loose coins, and the conditions under which to sell items on eBay.
Now I’d like to ask you for now how I can make this website better for you. You’ve helped me out, now I want to know how I can help you.
On the technical side: is my site well organized? Are there links that don’t work? Layout bugs or glitches?
On the content side: what kinds of posts or features would you like to see more of? What am I doing well? What kinds of posts, features or pages would you like to see less of? What can I improve on?
[I can already think of a few things to improve on, like getting these posts up on time... or ever.]
What’s your favorite thing on or about this site? And your least favorite? Essentially:
How am I doing?

I think you’re going at a good pace in terms of posting – Your updates are frequent and short enough to both show the progress and not taking too much time from your day to make them.
While it might be scary for your parents, guest postings from your family would be pretty cool addition, not to mention something to keep you going when your tank’s on E.

Umm… yeah my parents are definitely NOT going to write on the blog. For one thing my dad has no idea it even exists, and I’m sure he’d totally flip out and end the entire project altogether.
My mom knows about the blog, but I don’t believe she’d be willing to write. She’s pretty busy doing other things too.
Now my sister would DEFINITELY be willing to write, but because she’s really young, I’m super concerned for her privacy.
I agree that getting their perspectives would be interesting, but at this point it wouldn’t be feasible.

The only suggestion I would have is maybe adding “next post” and “previous post” links to entries, which would make reading through multiple entries easier.
I think my favorite part of the site is seeing the before and after pictures – the progress you are making is amazing! WTF Wednesdays and the Eye Spy entries are some other favorites as well.
